I’m sure you’ve been told by several people, like your boss or your parents, or friends, and even people you don’t really know, “Don’t waste your time”. And now, here I am telling you “Don’t Waste Your Time”. By now I’m sure your wondering what you shouldn’t waste your time on, right!
I’m not going to go off here and tell you all the things you shouldn’t do in your life, I’m gong to stick to one specific area that a few people seem to get stuck in. So here it is…”Don’t waste your time working for someone else.” Is that what you were expecting? Probably not.
So why shouldn’t you waste your time working for someone else? Because you get caught in a small room where you become limited in what you can do. The person you work for sets guidelines and rules for you, and then tells you what time you need to start working at, and then tells you what days you may have off…this week.
The other problem with this small room is the ceiling is really low, which means you are limited in how much money you can make. Even if you were able to get some extra hours, you can only work for so many hours in a day. Or what if your on salary, then your working for the same day in and day out, nothing extra for those days that seem like you’ve worked twice as hard. Don’t be one of the few that get caught in this little room.
I think the worst part of wasting your time in this manner is…Almost %50 of your money gets taken before you even see it. Thats right, all those taxes, Employment Insurance, Pension Plans, sometimes even Union dews. So all that time you spent making someone else a bunch of money, you don’t even get to see all the money. I bet your thinking, what a waste of time, now huh.
One solution that may be able to assist is the same thing 79 million others in North America will do in the next year. Start your own business!! Be your own boss!! Write your own paycheck!!
Not only will you be able to fire your current boss, choose your own hours of work, take any day off you wish, but, you’ll be able to keep more of your money for yourself. Like many others, you too can utilize the benefits of owning your business, starting today, running it right out of your home.
So take action today, even if it’s just thinking up a business name, cause any action is better than in-action. If you get started a little bit at a time, the rest will begin to follow. So, like I said before “don’t waste your time”, find a business for YOU.
